Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring attention to detail and timely progression of cases.
• Attend hearings and represent clients before the California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and the legal team to provide case support.
• Engage in client communications and offer legal guidance throughout the case process.

Requirements

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage caseloads independently and with efficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of workers' compensation law and litigation processes.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills

• Proficiency in California workers' compensation law and familiarity with the California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board procedures.
• Experience in litigation, with a focus on workers' compensation defense preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
