Mass Tort Associate Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Mass Tort Associate Attorney responsible for identifying and establishing co-counsel partnerships with prominent mass tort litigation firms. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in mass tort litigation, strong negotiation skills, and a robust network within the mass tort legal community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and establish relationships with top-tier mass tort litigation firms.
• Negotiate and formalize co-counsel agreements with clear and favorable terms.
• Manage the transfer and coordination of acquired cases to partner firms.
• Maintain consistent and effective communication with partner firms to ensure case progress.
• Monitor the progress and success of co-counseled cases and provide regular updates to clients and partners.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to mass tort issues.
• Assist in case strategy development and implementation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including agreements and correspondence.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar license in good standing in California.
• Significant experience (X+ years) in mass tort litigation.
• Strong network and connections within the mass tort legal community.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage co-counsel relationships effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
