Junior Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is currently seeking a Junior Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in New York City, NY.

Job Overview:

The Junior Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support in various litigation matters. This position requires a motivated individual with strong research and writing skills, as well as the ability to take ownership of cases and work effectively remotely.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation cases.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist in case management, including organizing documents, coordinating discovery, and preparing for hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop case strategies.
• Attend court proceedings and depositions as needed.
• Maintain communication with clients and provide updates on case progress.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of prior experience in litigation from an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Admitted to the Bar in at least one jurisdiction; bonus if admitted in California.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Strong desire to take ownership of cases and gain experience.
• Self-motivated and effective working remotely.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in at least one jurisdiction.
