Job Overview:

Location:

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, notices, discovery, judgments, and legal memoranda.
  • Manage court dockets in surrounding counties and handle court appearances.
  • Advise clients on tax-related matters and communicate with taxpayers and opposing attorneys.
  • Assist in appellate matters as needed.
  • Participate in marketing activities and attend local and statewide events and conferences.
  • Collaborate with staff to monitor and calendar deadlines effectively.
  • Provide clear, timely, and effective advice to clients.
  • Foster client relationships through regular communication, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Texas State Bar membership (licensed to practice law in Texas).
  • No prior experience required; training and mentorship provided.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a large caseload.
  • Clear, concise writing skills, with the ability to draft legal documents effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex legal issues.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas (Texas State Bar membership).

Skills:
