A law firm seeks a Junior to Mid-level Product Liability Associate Attorney to join its Seattle office. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with at least two years of litigation experience, particularly in product liability, to work on high-profile matters. Duties:

  • Represent clients in product liability disputes, including complex litigation matters and high-profile cases.
  • Counsel and advocate for manufacturers involved in mass torts and other large-scale product liability disputes.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, from pre-trial motions to trial preparation and court appearances.
  • Assist in the development and execution of case strategies, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys on complex product liability cases, including class actions and multi-district litigation (MDL).
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts, ensuring timely updates and a smooth litigation process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering strategic advice on product liability risks and defense strategies.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on product liability.
  • Strong experience in managing litigation cases, including drafting legal documents and court appearances.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple complex cases simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently.
  • Proven track record of success in a litigation setting, with the ability to handle challenging, high-stakes matters.
  • Experience representing consumer brands or manufacturers is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in Washingto (or eligible for admission).
  • Federal clerkship experience is preferred but not required.
