Junior Finance Corporate Trust Associate

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm is seeking a Junior Associate to join its rapidly growing transactional practice, specifically within the Corporate Trust Subgroup. This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with one to two years of legal experience who demonstrate a strong work ethic, maturity, and effective communication skills. Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Represent trustees and/or collateral agents in structured finance transactions.

• Provide legal counsel and support on various structured finance matters.

• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents.

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure high-quality legal services.

• Conduct legal research and analysis relevant to structured finance transactions.

• Maintain compliance with legal standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of legal experience.

• Strong work ethic, maturity, and ability to communicate effectively.

• Interest in finance or accounting is a plus but not required.

• Ability to manage transactional matters efficiently and with attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed and in good standing in the state of practice.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
