The successful candidate will be responsible for handling personal injury litigation matters, working closely with clients, and representing them in all phases of litigation, from case evaluation to trial, if necessary. Duties:

  • Handle personal injury cases from inception through resolution, including trial if necessary.
  • Meet with clients to discuss case details, show empathy, and gain trust.
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding case progress.
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and offers.
  • Prepare and manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel or insurance companies.
  • Evaluate and strategize the best approach for client cases, balancing legal expertise with client needs.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical standards and legal best practices.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of litigation experience, with relevant 1st chair trial experience.
  • An active member in good standing with the Indiana Bar.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
  • Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to evaluate claims and negotiate favorable outcomes.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

  • Active Indiana Bar membership in good standing.

Skills:
