Job Overview: A reputable law firm is seeking a motivated and driven Litigation Associate Attorney to join a collaborative team handling sophisticated legal matters across various industries and practice areas. The firm has been serving clients for over 25 years and specializes in Residential/Commercial Real Estate, Insurance Defense, Land Use Law, Bankruptcy, Trust and Estates, and General Litigation. Experience in administrative proceedings and government law is a plus but not required.

Location:

  • Boca Raton, FL

Duties:

  • Represent clients in various litigation matters including but not limited to real estate, insurance defense, bankruptcy, and general litigation
  • Handle cases from inception through resolution, including court appearances, depositions, and trial preparation
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters
  • Research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Advise clients on legal matters and strategies
  • Attend administrative proceedings and hearings when applicable

Requirements:

  • 2 to 7 years of litigation experience
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and work efficiently under pressure
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to legal practice

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Florida Bar License (or ability to obtain one)

Skills:

  • Litigation experience in residential/commercial real estate, insurance defense, and general litigation
  • Strong legal analysis and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
