Job Overview: A law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a highly qualified Mid-Level Structured Finance Associate Attorney with a minimum of four years of experience in structured finance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive deal experience and a strong focus in areas such as structured finance, lending, securitization, or similar finance structures. Duties:

  • Represent clients in structured finance transactions, including securitizations, lending arrangements, and other complex financial structures.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including loan agreements, security agreements, and other related contracts.
  • Provide legal advice and support on structured finance transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support transaction structuring and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with clients, financial institutions, and other legal professionals to achieve transaction goals.
  • Manage and oversee due diligence processes, including reviewing and analyzing relevant documentation and financial information.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes impacting structured finance.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of four years of experience in structured finance, with a focus on structured finance, lending, securitization, or similar finance structures.
  • Proven track record of handling complex finance transactions and deal experience at a law firm.
  • Strong understanding of various asset types and structures within the finance industry.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar.

  • Expertise in structured finance, lending, and securitization.
