Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking a dedicated Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting discovery requests, responses, and motions related to discovery disputes.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Assist in case strategy development and provide strategic advice to clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of solid commercial litigation experience.
• Judicial Clerkship experience preferred.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing membership in the New York State Bar.
• Excellent academic credentials, with solid writing and analytical skills.
