A law firm in Stamford, CT, is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of law firm experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital, and secured lending transactions. The role requires exceptional academic qualifications, excellent drafting skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to interface directly with clients and opposing counsel. The candidate should be admitted to the Connecticut Bar.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with clients and opposing counsel to facilitate transactions and ensure their smooth progression.
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal advice on corporate matters.
  • Assist in due diligence processes and the preparation of related documents.
  • Work under partner supervision and actively participate in transaction management.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to address legal issues and provide guidance.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of law firm experience.
  • Admission to the Connecticut Bar.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Excellent drafting skills.
  • Experience running transactions with partner supervision.
  • Strong communication skills.

Education:

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Connecticut Bar.
