Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a background in handling Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) hearings and depositions and a comprehensive understanding of the NY Workers' Compensation process. Proficiency in Social Security Disability (SSD) matters and Spanish language skills are highly valued.

Duties:

• Represent clients in Workers' Compensation Board hearings and depositions.
• Collaborate with paralegals to prepare and file required documentation.
• Manage cases efficiently, ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout their cases.
• Maintain detailed case records and ensure consistent communication with clients regarding updates and strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Workers' Compensation law.
• Familiarity with Social Security Disability (SSD) matters is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills to work with diverse clients and legal teams.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (Required).
