Duties:

  • Handle family law cases, including divorce, custody, parentage, child support, guardianships, and adoptions.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal arguments.

  • Manage case files independently while collaborating with a team when necessary.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on California family law and procedural requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to California Rules of Court, San Diego Local Rules, and filing procedures.

Requirements:

  • Active membership with the State Bar of California.
  • 5-10 years of recent experience as a family law attorney.
  • Strong knowledge of family law, including legal principles and procedural requirements.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
