Associate Attorney Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy

Duties:

• Manage day-to-day civil litigation tasks, including legal research, case preparation, and drafting legal documents.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on creditors' rights, replevin, bankruptcy, and related matters.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings.
• Oversee and collaborate with non-attorney staff to ensure efficiency, compliance with laws, and adherence to client requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members via email and in person.
• Maintain high-quality legal services in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Occasionally travel as required for court appearances and client meetings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana (multiple state licenses are a plus).
• 5-7 years of experience in creditors' rights, replevin, impound, and bankruptcy.
• Strong legal research, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong writing and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn new software tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and flexibility.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana (additional state licenses are a plus).
