Duties

  • Draft legal documents such as memos, motions, pleadings, and orders.
  • Assist the lead attorney in preparing for hearings and trials.
  • Manage and coordinate case management deadlines.
  • Oversee discovery efforts and work closely with paralegals and legal support staff.
  • Conduct legal research on diverse topics, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Actively contribute to case strategy and development.

Requirements

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to adapt quickly.
  • 0-5 years of legal experience as an associate.
  • Must have experience working remotely with access to a reliable internet connection and a distraction-free workspace.

Education

  • Law degree with cum laude or higher honors.
  • Graduated in the top 25% of law school class.
  • High performance in legal research and writing courses (A or top marks).

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida or eligible for Florida Bar admission.
