Job Overview:
A well-established law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia is currently seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with expertise in real estate law. This role offers the opportunity to represent condominium and homeowner associations in both corporate and litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general real estate law and a passion for providing high-quality legal counsel to clients in the real estate and community association sectors.

Duties:

• Advise and represent condominium and homeowner associations in a variety of legal matters.
• Draft and review governing documents and corporate amendments for clients.
• Handle covenant enforcement and issues relating to the Fair Housing Act.
• Provide contract review, negotiation, and enforcement services.
• Offer nonprofit legal advice to association clients.
• Assist with parliamentary procedures and election disputes.
• Manage assessment collection matters.
• Handle insurance defense litigation cases.
• Provide general real estate legal counsel and litigation support.

Requirements:

• At least 3-6 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on real estate law preferred.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Education:

• Doctoral degree in Law (J.D. or equivalent).

Certifications:

• An active member of the State Bar of Georgia in good standing.

Skills:
