A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Real Estate Associate Attorney for its New York City office.

 

Job Overview:

  • Focus on transactional commercial real estate, including complex financing transactions and equity investments.
  • Provide legal counsel on a variety of real estate matters, including joint ventures, purchase and sale agreements, and financing arrangements.
  • Contribute to the firm's real estate practice by leveraging expertise in negotiating and drafting transactional documents.

 

Duties:

  • Handle complex, multi-party financing transactions, including structuring and negotiating financing agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate joint venture agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and other transactional documents.
  • Conduct due diligence investigations and assess legal risks associated with real estate transactions.
  • Advise clients on legal issues related to real estate development, leasing, and land use regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of transactional commercial real estate experience at a reputable law firm.
  • Admission to the New York Bar.
  • Excellent academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Demonstrated experience working on complex financing transactions and equity investments.
  • Strong understanding of real estate law and regulations.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the New York Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in document review and drafting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
