Job Overview: A leading law firm is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with expertise in immigration law to join the team in Concord, CA. This role involves managing a diverse caseload of immigration matters, providing top-notch legal support, and delivering excellent client service. The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for both in-office and remote work.

Location:

  • Concord, CA (Hybrid)

Duties:

  • Handle a broad range of immigration matters including petitions, consular matters, waivers, removal proceedings, and appeals.
  • Draft and file legal petitions, applications, and court filings with USCIS, DOJ, DOL, and DOS.
  • Represent clients in various immigration-related proceedings and appeals.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies.
  • Provide written and oral advice to clients, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Deliver exceptional client service with a focus on resolving complex legal matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney handling immigration cases.
  • Bi-lingual proficiency is highly preferred.
  • Strong research, writing, and computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding client service.
  • Ability to think creatively and resourcefully in solving legal challenges.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar (or the ability to obtain admission promptly).
