A law firm in Lincoln, NE, is seeking a dynamic Lead Immigration Attorney to oversee their immigration law team. The role involves leading complex cases in humanitarian and family-based immigration while providing strategic guidance and mentorship to the firm's legal professionals.

Job Duties:

• Lead the immigration law team, providing mentorship and guidance to attorneys and staff.
• Collaborate closely with the Owner and Managing Attorney to develop and execute strategic goals for the firm.
• Handle complex cases in humanitarian and family-based immigration law.
• Provide expertise and support in employment-based immigration matters.
• Uphold the firm’s core values of community, family, and respect in all professional interactions.
• Engage with the community and represent the firm in professional forums and events.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Nebraska State Bar.
• 5+ years of experience in immigration law, with a focus on humanitarian and family-based immigration.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a legal team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in employment-based immigration is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Nebraska State Bar.
