Duties

• Draft and file pleadings in both state and federal courts.
• Manage discovery processes, including document review, depositions, and interrogatories.
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and client meetings, with travel as required.
• Provide strategic legal advice and advocacy for business litigation clients.
• Engage in client relationship management and business development efforts.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in business litigation, with a focus on drafting pleadings and managing discovery.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• A portable book of business to support and grow the firm’s client base.
• Active membership in the Oregon State Bar; Washington State Bar membership is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for court appearances, depositions, and client meetings.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Oregon State Bar membership.
• Washington State Bar membership is advantageous.
