A law firm seeks an accomplished securities attorney to join its Investment Funds Group in Miami, FL. This professional-track (non-partnership) role is designed for an attorney with substantial experience in managing structured securities offerings, particularly within the commercial real estate sector. The role involves representing a diverse clientele, including REITs, public and private real estate companies, and institutional investors, across transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and property developments.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage structured securities offerings, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with client goals.
  • Represent clients in a broad spectrum of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and development.
  • Provide strategic guidance on real estate finance and investment structuring to support client objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams to facilitate efficient transaction processes.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support sophisticated financial transactions and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing structured securities offerings, with a focus on commercial real estate.
  • Proficiency in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and best practices in structuring real estate investments.
  • Experience with a top-tier law firm, preferably within the AmLaw 100.
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
