Criminal Defense Attorney

Job Overview:

The remote attorney will handle Fresno cases exclusively, overseeing all aspects such as discovery, motions, DA negotiations, and court appearances when possible.

Location:

• Sacramento, CA

Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and draft legal documents

• Attend pretrial hearings and provide strategic counsel

• Handle court appearances, trials, motions, witness interviews, and legal research

• Analyze case outcomes using legal precedents

• Manage a caseload independently while collaborating with the Criminal Defense Team

• Prepare clients for depositions and work with experts to build case strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Criminal Defense

• Experience handling complex cases at the federal, state, and local levels

• Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills

• A team player who enjoys strategizing and collaborating

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong legal research and analytical abilities
