A law firm seeks to hire a mid-level associate to join its Tax practice in the Pittsburgh office. This dynamic role focuses on estate planning, probate, and trust administration, particularly for high-net-worth individuals and complex estates. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, a strong background in estate planning, and the ability to independently manage multiple client matters.

Duties:

  • Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Prepare and submit court pleadings related to probate administration and associated legal proceedings.
  • Analyze and summarize intricate planning structures for clients.
  • Manage multiple estates of varying sizes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to a positive office culture.

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to or eligibility to sit for the Pennsylvania Bar.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration, ideally in a sophisticated law firm environment.
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex matters and effectively prioritize tasks.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (or eligibility to sit for the bar exam).
