Job Title: Remote Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Manage civil litigation and insurance defense cases with significant responsibility
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and trials
• Draft legal documents, including written discovery, reports, and motions
• Take depositions and handle case files from inception to conclusion
• Maintain a high standard of legal research and writing
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners for guidance and mentoring
• Contribute to the firm’s mission of providing aggressive yet thoughtful representation

Requirements:

• Active membership in the California State Bar
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in litigation or insurance defense
• Strong advocacy, communication, and legal writing skills
• Ability to handle a high volume of court appearances and depositions
• Professional demeanor with a problem-solving attitude
• Independent, self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• California State Bar License (required)

Skills:

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in legal research and case management software
• Ability to handle complex legal files and cases independently
• Courtroom experience, particularly in depositions and trial settings
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
