Job Overview:
A growing law firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Associate Attorney to join a high-performing team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting client consultations, developing cases, supervising paralegals, preparing clients for hearings, and attending Immigration Court and USCIS interviews. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team and contribute to the firm's continued success.

Location:

Duties:

  • Conduct initial consultations and client meetings
  • Develop cases by collaborating with paralegals and clients to gather necessary evidence
  • Perform legal research to assist with briefs, requests for evidence, and attorney memos
  • Supervise paralegals’ caseloads and deadlines
  • Prepare clients for interviews and court hearings
  • Attend hearings at Immigration Court and interviews at USCIS
  • Provide content for blogs and other web-based content
  • Maintain accurate files in management software
  • Create newsletters and track office successes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited institution
  • Admitted to the Florida Bar
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration law
  • Fluent in English and at least one other relevant foreign language
  • Strong service-oriented mentality
  • Self-starter and problem solver
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships with team members
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated accountability and responsibility

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the Florida Bar
