A well-established law firm is seeking a fully remote Family Lawyer based in Washington to join their team. Location:

  • Stanwood, WA

Duties:

  • Advocate for clients by thoroughly understanding their needs, analyzing their situations, and creating strategic action plans.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings when necessary.
  • Audit active cases regularly and provide clients with monthly case updates.
  • Collaborate with mentoring attorneys to brainstorm strategies and find the best resolutions for clients.
  • Review and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders.
  • Lead a legal pod, including paralegals and legal assistants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Participate in team meetings and one-on-one sessions with mentors to promote personal and team growth.

Requirements:

  • Member in good standing with the Washington State Bar.
  • Must reside in Washington State.
  • 5 years of experience practicing law, with a solid understanding of family law.
  • Experience working on family law cases, including real estate and marital property issues, for 1-2 years.
  • Proven record of success in advocating for clients in family law cases.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Current Washington State Bar License in good standing.

Skills:

  • Expertise in family law, including divorce, child custody, and property division.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize client needs effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership skills to manage and mentor a legal team.
