Media and Entertainment Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City is seeking a skilled Media and Entertainment Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong capabilities in taking ownership of cases and collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for cases related to media and entertainment litigation.
• Work collaboratively with team members to develop and execute litigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and arguments.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Participate in all aspects of litigation, including hearings, depositions, and trials.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 4 years of copyright and trademark litigation experience.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
