Job Location: San Diego, CA

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced attorney to join its Investment Funds Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, with a focus on acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. Additional familiarity with securities offerings is preferred. This position is available on a professional track and offers flexibility with the option to work either full-time or part-time. The firm is looking for an attorney who can manage both collaborative and independent work efficiently, with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel and guidance on investment funds.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts and documents.
  • Perform legal research and resolve complex real estate issues.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and business professionals to deliver legal solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in real estate and securities offerings.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering high-quality and responsive service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law, particularly acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Expertise in real estate transactions and a solid understanding of investment funds.
  • Ability to navigate securities offerings, although not a requirement.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and research skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California.
