Junior Trademark Intellectual Property Associate Attorney

A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a motivated Junior Trademark Intellectual Property Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess superior analytical skills, strong academic credentials, and excellent oral, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement matters.
• Conduct trademark searches and analyses.
• Draft and file trademark applications.
• Manage trademark portfolios and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on intellectual property issues.
• Assist in intellectual property litigation and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.

Requirements

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in California, or eligible to sit for the next California Bar exam.
• 1-3 years of experience in intellectual property law, preferably with a focus on trademarks.
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated interest in intellectual property law.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Skills

• Proficiency in conducting trademark searches and analyses.
• Ability to draft clear and concise legal documents, including trademark applications and correspondence.
• Knowledge of trademark prosecution procedures and trademark office practices.
