Duties:

• Client Intake & Consultation:

  • Establish trust and rapport with clients.
  • Collect and document essential details about liability, damages, and coverage.
  • Set clear action steps for clients and the legal team.

• Case Investigation:

  • Oversee investigations to gather critical evidence.
  • Assess insurance coverage and strengthen the case for trial.

• Negotiation & Settlement:

  • Prepare cases for trial while evaluating Full Settlement Value.
  • Cultivate relationships with insurance adjusters and negotiate aggressively.
  • Initiate litigation if necessary, guiding clients through the legal process.

• Litigation & Trial Preparation:

  • Draft pleadings, discovery, and other court documents.
  • Strategize and prepare for trial, mediation, or arbitration.

• General Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve correspondence drafted by team members.
  • Collaborate effectively to ensure cases are processed efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in personal injury law.
• Strong negotiation skills and a strategic mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads independently.
• Compassionate, client-focused approach to advocacy.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in good standing (preferably in New Mexico or the ability to transfer).

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in legal research, writing, and case management software.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance adjusters.
