Intake Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Intake Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will manage the intake process for potential clients, assess immigration relief options, and provide strategic legal guidance. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, experience in immigration law, and the ability to oversee a team.

Duties:

• Monitor the firm’s case management software for live cases to ensure proper vetting.
• Review intake sheets and documents from potential clients.
• Identify potential immigration relief options for clients.
• Suggest legal strategies and proposed services tailored to potential clients.
• Communicate with existing clients regarding additional services outside their current contract.
• Answer legal questions and explain legal processes to potential and existing clients.
• Provide feedback to the sales team regarding client meetings and potential new business.
• Oversee and manage intake paralegals and virtual assistants to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in Immigration Law.
• Proven ability to move legal cases forward and manage a caseload effectively.
• Strong record of success in handling Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.
• Experience with case management software preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively with associates and strategize effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Nevada.

Skills:

• Proficiency in case management software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to provide strategic legal advice and develop effective legal strategies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capacity to handle a high volume of cases and manage multiple priorities.
