Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Managed Care Practice in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of law firm experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, with outstanding academic credentials and exceptional writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills. This role involves managing multiple cases and serving as the point person on litigation matters, providing high-quality legal services to clients.

Duties

• Manage and handle multiple complex commercial litigation and arbitration cases.
• Serve as the primary contact and point person on assigned litigation matters.
• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Provide strategic advice and representation to clients in the firm’s Managed Care Practice.
• Participate in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and arbitration proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop and execute case strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends relevant to complex commercial litigation and managed care.

Requirements

• Must have 3-5 years of law firm experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration.
• Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• Proven experience handling multiple cases simultaneously and serving as the point person on litigation matters.
• Excellent writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
