Associate Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with 0-4 years of experience to join its litigation practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Duties:

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and assist with trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution.
• Maintain client communication and provide legal counsel throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

• 0-4 years of experience in commercial, real estate, or construction litigation.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Evidence of academic excellence, such as participation in law review, high class rank, or a judicial clerkship, is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
