Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is looking to hire an experienced Land Use Attorney to join its team. This position requires a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in land use, zoning, and development permitting. The ideal candidate will be highly qualified, motivated, and able to manage complex land use and zoning matters effectively.

Location:

  • Miami, FL

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on land use, zoning, and development permitting issues.
  • Represent clients in zoning board hearings, municipal councils, and other regulatory proceedings.
  • Draft and review zoning and land use-related documents, including permits and development agreements.
  • Advise clients on land use strategies to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Negotiate with governmental agencies and private developers on land use and zoning matters.
  • Stay current on zoning laws, land use policies, and any changes to local ordinances.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in land use, zoning, and development permitting.
  • Proven experience handling complex zoning and land use cases.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders, including government agencies, developers, and clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Skills:
