Location:

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and asset division.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, trials, and other legal proceedings.
  • Provide legal advice and maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Draft and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Negotiate settlements and dispute resolutions in a manner that protects the client’s best interests.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff in case preparation and client strategy.
  • Participate in the firm’s business development efforts and provide client-focused legal services.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Texas family law.
  • Confidence and experience in handling family law matters in the courtroom.
  • Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Texas Family Code and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
