Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, with an emphasis on joint ventures and borrower-side finance.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on real estate matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other real estate documents.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals to resolve complex legal issues.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of real estate transactions.
  • Perform legal research and analysis to support client interests.
  • Contribute to the firm’s business development efforts.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial real estate transactional law.
  • Significant experience in joint ventures and borrower-side finance.
  • Strong academic credentials and foundational legal training.
  • Admission to the California Bar is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent legal writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex transactions and multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar (strongly preferred).

Skills:

  • Commercial real estate transaction expertise.
  • Experience in joint ventures and borrower-side finance.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Legal research and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to handle complex legal issues and prioritize tasks effectively.
