A law firm is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented First Legal Attorney to join their team in Boca Raton, FL. The ideal candidate will handle mostly transactional work and must be capable of managing workloads independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role requires strong interpersonal, analytical, and computer skills. Florida Bar Membership is mandatory, with New Jersey Bar Membership considered a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle transactional work with meticulous attention to detail and high-quality output.
  • Organize and prioritize workloads to meet strict deadlines.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of all conditions precedent to filing actions, including loan documents, financials, and demand letters.
  • Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate legal actions.
  • Update all internal systems with findings, documentation, and recommendations.
  • Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable.
  • Communicate effectively through verbal and written electronic correspondence.
  • Analyze corrective action opportunities and present well-founded recommendations.
  • Safeguard the firm's compliance with applicable legal standards and practices.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree.
  • Florida Bar Membership (mandatory).
  • New Jersey Bar Membership (preferred but not required).
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in computer and general office skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and/or quality control principles is preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar Membership in Florida (mandatory).
  • Bar Membership in New Jersey (preferred but not required).

Skills:

  • Intermediate to advanced-level computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to produce accurate and high-quality work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present recommendations effectively.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and quality control principles (preferred).
