Job Overview

This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex litigation matters, including insurance defense, within a collaborative and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation, with strong research, deposition, and writing skills.

Duties

• Handle various civil litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Draft and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and strategic advice.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
• Represent clients in settlement negotiations and court proceedings.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on insurance defense (preferred).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle complex legal research and analysis.
• Prior experience with depositions and court appearances.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
