Duties

• Handle personal injury cases, including single-event auto accidents and workers' compensation claims, from case initiation to settlement or trial.
• Conduct legal research and prepare necessary documentation, including pleadings and motions.
• Communicate with clients to provide regular updates and gather essential case information.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, representing their best interests.
• Prepare for and participate in trials when needed, managing case strategy and court appearances.
• Advise clients on legal issues related to insurance policies and coverage.
• Maintain case files and records in a timely and organized manner.
• Work in a collaborative, client-focused environment while managing a high caseload.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Strong understanding of insurance policy issues and coverage.
• Proven ability to manage cases from inception to resolution, including settlement and trial preparation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and client interaction abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Solid understanding of legal procedures, court rules, and practices.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
