Duties

• Represent clients in litigation matters, including preparing and presenting cases in court.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Analyze case law, statutes, and regulations to build and support legal arguments.
• Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases.
• Communicate with clients to provide legal advice and updates on case progress.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other staff members to strategize and execute legal strategies.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience in a legal setting.
• Proven track record in handling diverse cases, with solid courtroom experience.
• Exceptional writing and analytical skills, demonstrated through past work or academic achievements.
• Desire and willingness to appear in court and represent clients effectively.
• Experience in Healthcare and Energy Litigation is a plus but not required.
• Valid license to practice law in the state of Texas.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
