Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A Dallas-based law firm specializing in labor and employment defense is seeking a qualified Associate Attorney to join its legal team. This position is ideal for a skilled litigator passionate about employment law and committed to defending clients in labor disputes, business litigation, and single-plaintiff lawsuits. The role offers opportunities to work directly with clients, develop legal strategies, and represent clients in various legal proceedings, including hearings, mediations, depositions, and more.

Duties:

  • Defend clients in single-plaintiff lawsuits and administrative matters.
  • Engage with clients to develop strategies and provide legal counsel.
  • Represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Work closely with the employment litigation defense team to manage cases effectively.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare written briefs and other documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant court and agency procedures.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for employment law.
  • Active license to practice law in Texas; additional California Bar admission is a plus.
  • Familiarity with state and federal employment-related agency procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen attention to detail and a high commitment to excellence.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Texas Bar Admission (required).
  • California Bar Admission (preferred).
