Job Overview: A prominent law firm based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a dedicated Real Estate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the firm’s real estate practice, focusing on residential closings and title examination. This role involves working closely with paralegals and clients to ensure the smooth completion of real estate transactions. The position requires occasional travel between different office locations.

Duties:

• Conduct title examinations and reviews for real estate transactions.
• Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to prepare documents and manage transaction closings.
• Facilitate communication with clients throughout the transaction process.
• Attend residential closings and provide legal guidance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal real estate laws.
• Occasionally travel between local office locations for closings.

Requirements:

• Active membership with the Georgia Bar.
• Experience in real estate law, with a preference for those with real estate closing experience.
• Ability to travel between office locations for closing duties as needed.
• Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are considered a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be a licensed attorney in the state of Georgia.

Certifications:

• Georgia Bar license required.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of real estate law and closing procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle legal documentation accurately.
• Proficiency in working with legal teams and clients.
• Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
