Duties

• Manage a small caseload of personal injury cases independently from initiation through resolution.
• Prepare legal documents, including motions and discovery requests.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Participate in trial preparation and either take cases to trial or assist senior attorneys during trials.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies.
• Maintain detailed and organized case files while ensuring compliance with procedural deadlines.

Requirements

• Admission to the New York State Bar (active and in good standing).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in plaintiff-side personal injury law.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases efficiently while prioritizing client communication and needs.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
