Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly motivated Litigation Associate to join its dynamic team in Los Angeles or San Diego, CA. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters, including class action cases, in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Duties

  • Prepare and draft legal pleadings, motions, and briefs.

  • Manage discovery processes, including drafting discovery requests, engaging in meet-and-confer discussions, analyzing documents, and supporting depositions.

  • Assist in trial preparation and actively participate in contested hearings and trials.

  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations to senior attorneys.

  • Collaborate with legal teams on case strategy and client communications.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in complex litigation matters.

  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

  • Experience in class action litigation is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the state bar.
