Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent civil litigation firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its growing team. The firm specializes in large-loss insurance subrogation cases and handles a wide variety of practice areas, including construction defect, product liability, general tort litigation, auto and trucking litigation, and commercial disputes. This role offers the opportunity to take on a lead role in handling cases, and there is no minimum billable hour requirement. Location:

Duties:

• Handle civil litigation matters in the first-chair capacity
• Specialize in insurance subrogation cases, including construction defect, product liability, and commercial disputes
• Manage cases from inception to resolution
• Conduct trial and deposition work
• Work on auto and trucking litigation, general tort litigation, and personal injury cases
• Collaborate with clients and team members to develop legal strategies
• Participate in client relationships and manage ongoing litigation
• Take responsibility for handling matters independently and guiding junior associates when necessary

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in civil litigation
• Experience in trial work and depositions
• Familiarity with insurance defense, construction litigation, personal injury, or commercial litigation preferred
• Self-motivated with the ability to handle cases independently in a lead role
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage client relations
• No minimum billable hour requirement

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active state bar license (Colorado or reciprocal jurisdiction)
