Job Overview
A prominent law firm located in Dublin, OH, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney to join their team. This role will primarily involve guiding clients through the estate planning process and offering tailored legal solutions for families and individuals. Ideal candidates will have a passion for estate planning, elder law, and a client-focused mindset.

Duties

  • Lead client design meetings (approximately 75% of the role) to assess client needs and develop customized estate plans.
  • Supervise case progress and document drafting (approximately 25% of the role), ensuring cases remain on track.
  • Build strong, empathetic client relationships, offering exceptional listening skills and personalized service.
  • Assist clients in executing their plans, including securing payments and deposits.
  • Maintain compliance with firm procedures, workflows, and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor and guide a drafting paralegal, fostering professional growth and accountability.
  • Represent the firm in client seminars and workshops as opportunities arise.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning law.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Ohio law license in good standing.
  • ABA membership preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented and client-centered environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High personal accountability and dedication to professional excellence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems.
  • Familiarity with WealthDocs and ElderCounsel software, or willingness to learn.

Education
