Foreclosure Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Foreclosure Attorney to join its team in Roseland, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in foreclosure litigation and default litigation, specifically representing creditors. The firm operates across NJ, NY, and PA and specializes in creditors' rights, REO transactions, and commercial litigation.

Duties

• Represent clients in foreclosure litigation and default-related matters, primarily for creditors.
• Handle all aspects of the foreclosure process in New Jersey and/or New York, including filing motions, attending hearings, and managing litigation from start to finish.
• Provide legal counsel on creditors' rights and default litigation strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related materials.
• Communicate and negotiate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts to resolve foreclosure cases.
• Manage a caseload efficiently while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments, especially in foreclosure laws and creditor-related matters.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in foreclosure litigation, specifically representing creditors.
• Strong understanding of the foreclosure process in New Jersey and/or New York.
• Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and client management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the New Jersey and/or New York Bar is required.
• Additional state Bar admissions (PA) are a plus.
