Job Overview: A reputable law firm is seeking a motivated and dynamic Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in Municipal Law to join its growing office in Blue Bell, Montgomery County. The ideal candidate will have experience working with municipal entities on zoning, land development, real estate, and code enforcement matters, as well as handling day-to-day transactional tasks such as contract review, ordinance drafting, and labor and employment issues. Litigation experience is preferred but not required. This position offers the opportunity for significant client interaction and the potential to expand into other areas of law, including school law. The firm supports a hybrid and flexible work schedule, with some evening court and administrative proceedings required.

Duties:

  • Represent municipal entities in a variety of legal matters, including zoning, land development, real estate, and code enforcement.
  • Handle day-to-day transactional tasks such as contract review, drafting ordinances and resolutions, and advising on labor and employment issues.
  • Provide clear, concise, and practical legal guidance to clients in a timely manner.
  • Represent clients at various court and administrative proceedings, including zoning hearings, planning commissions, district and county courts, and municipal meetings.
  • Develop and maintain direct client relationships with a focus on high-quality service.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Municipal Law or related legal fields.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
