Family Law Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated and experienced Family Law Attorney to join its team in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The successful candidate will be passionate about family law and will have the opportunity to work with clients facing challenging personal situations, including divorce, child custody, and spousal support matters. Duties:

• Represent clients in family law cases such as divorce, child custody, alimony, and property division.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and stay up to date on family law developments and precedents.
• Attend court hearings and trials, presenting cases effectively and advocating for clients.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with legal staff, including paralegals and assistants, to ensure efficient case management and timely delivery of legal services.

Requirements:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• At least 2 years of experience in family law litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to work directly with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and client needs.
• A commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to the state bar in good standing.
