Job Overview: A law firm seeks a dedicated and experienced Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney to join its team in Colorado. Duties:

  • Manage personal injury case files from intake through resolution.
  • Provide ongoing legal advice and support to clients.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive case plans for each client.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, expert witnesses, medical providers, and other involved parties.
  • Review and summarize medical records to build strong cases.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents including claims, motions, pleadings, subpoenas, and demand letters.
  • Represent clients in mediation, depositions, hearings, and other pre-litigation processes.
  • Strategize case resolutions that are both favorable and cost-effective for clients.
  • Keep clients informed about case status and developments.
  • Monitor the financial aspects of each case to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Maintain and update case files in a paperless case management system.
  • Handle new client opportunities and explain attorney-client contracts.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in personal injury law (preferred).
  • Strong ability to manage personal injury cases from start to finish.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and document drafting skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on client relations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, paperless environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active state license to practice law in Colorado (required).

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research and drafting of legal documents.
  • Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage a diverse caseload.
  • Competence in using legal case management software and other digital tools.
